Can you believe I have had this blog for THREE years now?! That has flown by. Wordpress sent me my stats for the year. According to their blog-0-meter I received a ‘WOW’ level. In honor of my 3 year blogiversary, here’s a little giveaway to all my readers, and for those of you too shy to comment, well, you have no choice if you want a chance to win! What better way to start off a new year than sending off a little package for no other reason than just because.

I have a ton to post, and instead of bombarding one gigantic post with everything, I will try and restrain myself from doing that.
But I will be blogging about our Egg Nog Party, and my very exciting sewing project(yes, I bought a sewing machine and I even MADE something with it!), and I have a final photo shoot for 2009 happening this week for a family I shot back in August. I just love shooting for repeat clients, it really makes my whole week to know they came back for more. This time I get to shoot the family and both sets of grandparents.
In other HUGE news, I quit my job today. I no longer am going into the spa I have worked at for 8 years, but I am solely self employed now. MORE on that to come as well. I have been wanting to share my other website on my blog for awhile, but only now have the freedom to do that. SO EXCITING!
Okay, now for some focus to my rambling, overcrowded brain.
This is Lorelei. Teresa, Lorelei’s mom, won my photo giveaway a little while back and we finally arranged our schedules to coincide. She won a free mini photo shoot and gets to choose an 8×10 and 5×7. This little girl is delicious. I mean look at those cheeks! She was such a good baby, and I’m glad we managed to get some of the whole family. I posted a few more on my photo blog, but here are a few of my favorites.

I realized that it isn’t necessarily about making money, but I love my craft, and sometimes it’s exciting to share my time and love for photography with other people who appreciate it as much as I do. Not always will I have the time to photograph others just for fun, but once in awhile I think it’ll be awesome for me to have my creative juices flowing without the pressure of a regular photo shoot. So don’t worry, there will be more. And I could use the practice, always. Especially when I have been separate from my camera for more than a few weeks, it’s great for me to get back behind it where I am most comfortable.
I love that there are people out there that I don’t know who follow my blog. I wish I could know more about each and every person, why they visit here, for the photos, the venting, the piece of sanity that they are not alone in their chaotic life, whatever it is, I love that you came to visit.
Okay, here’s the deets on the giveaway. I am pretty excited! It’s for a 1 hour photo shoot in the los angeles area and you get a free 8×10 and 1 5×7. It can be for a couple, family (extended family not included), kids portrait, high school senior, basically your pick. And you get to choose the 8×10 and 5×7.
To enter just leave a comment why you’d like to win and your name. The giveaway will be open until Sunday and I will announce the winner, randomly chosen by my lovely children, on Monday! After I announce the winner I will contact you and we can set up the location and date. The shoot has to take place before 2010, and that’s pretty much it!
