I’ve decided to centralize all my giveaways for Skin by Deborah through facebook. So if you aren’t a fan(I should say “liker”) yet, click here and become one (or be one?)! I do monthly giveaways on there, and this month is no exception. Click on over and see what I’m giving away. Just click the Like button and then follow the giveaway instructions to be entered. I have given away products in the past, and this month is something special. Don’t miss out!
And the winner is……
Congratulations LILLIAN from San Luis Obispo! And just for the fun of it, I decided to to pick another winner who will also receive one owl charm. I didn’t make another hair clip so I can’t give another one of those away. But I do have two charms! And also congratulations to SARAH from Charlotte, NC. Both of you, please email me your address! And they will be on their way to you soon!
Greta quite enjoyed the whole giveaway process so I have a feeling we will be doing more of these in the future. Thank you to everyone who entered!!
I haven’t forgotten! I just haven’t had the time to put the names in a little hat and document the winner! I promise Monday morning I will announce the winner. Thanks everyone for entering. I’m so excited!
Can you believe I have had this blog for THREE years now?! That has flown by. Wordpress sent me my stats for the year. According to their blog-0-meter I received a ‘WOW’ level. Not sure what the other levels are called, but I’ll take it as a compliment. I had 273 posts and over 36,000 visits this year! Crazy. My most popular post
last year was Little Bean. Aww, it was before we knew whether the little bean was a boy or a girl. Memories…
In honor of my 3 year blogiversary, here’s a little giveaway to all my readers, and for those of you too shy to comment, well, you have no choice if you want a chance to win! What better way to start off a new year than sending off a little package for no other reason than just because.
The first item is a little owl pendant that I purchased on Etsy. I have a couple myself and this one I am going to give to one of you. It’s from Etsy seller’s Tofukitty shop.
The second item is a hair clip that I made myself. You can see the one I made for myself here. I absolutely love these and get compliments whenever I wear mine.
It’s a really easy DIY with a link to the instructions on the post I referenced. But I went ahead and made an extra clip to give to a kind reader.
So here’s the rules: There aren’t any. Just leave a comment in this post with the city or state or I guess even country you are living in and you will be entered. If
you repost this giveaway on your blog, let me know in the comments with a link to your post and you will be entered into the giveaway two times. The giveaway will be open until Friday evening, and I’ll post the winner Saturday morning.
Epiphanie is giving away an amazing prize! A new Canon 5D Mark II! They make beautiful camera bags and are doing a WONDERFUL giveaway! Check it out!
I have a ton to post, and instead of bombarding one gigantic post with everything, I will try and restrain myself from doing that.
But I will be blogging about our Egg Nog Party, and my very exciting sewing project(yes, I bought a sewing machine and I even MADE something with it!), and I have a final photo shoot for 2009 happening this week for a family I shot back in August. I just love shooting for repeat clients, it really makes my whole week to know they came back for more. This time I get to shoot the family and both sets of grandparents.
In other HUGE news, I quit my job today. I no longer am going into the spa I have worked at for 8 years, but I am solely self employed now. MORE on that to come as well. I have been wanting to share my other website on my blog for awhile, but only now have the freedom to do that. SO EXCITING!
Okay, now for some focus to my rambling, overcrowded brain.
This is Lorelei. Teresa, Lorelei’s mom, won my photo giveaway a little while back and we finally arranged our schedules to coincide. She won a free mini photo shoot and gets to choose an 8×10 and 5×7. This little girl is delicious. I mean look at those cheeks! She was such a good baby, and I’m glad we managed to get some of the whole family. I posted a few more on my photo blog, but here are a few of my favorites.
Congratulations Teresa on winning!
We folded up all your comments and Gunnar got to pick the winner since he is home sick from school and this is the most excitement he’s had all day!
I will be in touch with you! And if you didn’t win, I’m sorry. But don’t be too sad, I’ll do more giveaways in the future. I realized that it isn’t necessarily about making money, but I love my craft, and sometimes it’s exciting to share my time and love for photography with other people who appreciate it as much as I do. Not always will I have the time to photograph others just for fun, but once in awhile I think it’ll be awesome for me to have my creative juices flowing without the pressure of a regular photo shoot. So don’t worry, there will be more. And I could use the practice, always. Especially when I have been separate from my camera for more than a few weeks, it’s great for me to get back behind it where I am most comfortable.
I love that there are people out there that I don’t know who follow my blog. I wish I could know more about each and every person, why they visit here, for the photos, the venting, the piece of sanity that they are not alone in their chaotic life, whatever it is, I love that you came to visit.
Okay, here’s the deets on the giveaway. I am pretty excited! It’s for a 1 hour photo shoot in the los angeles area and you get a free 8×10 and 1 5×7. It can be for a couple, family (extended family not included), kids portrait, high school senior, basically your pick. And you get to choose the 8×10 and 5×7.
To enter just leave a comment why you’d like to win and your name. The giveaway will be open until Sunday and I will announce the winner, randomly chosen by my lovely children, on Monday! After I announce the winner I will contact you and we can set up the location and date. The shoot has to take place before 2010, and that’s pretty much it!
