The kids were invited to a children’s art party recently. A crafty mama friend put together some very fun and creative stations for the kids to work at. Who wouldn’t be excited with the words “art” and “party” on the invitation? I think for the favorite it was a tie between spin art, which was done with paint on index cards and a salad spinner, and tie-dye t-shirts. There was also watercolor, molding clay, stencils, paint, markers, spray bottles, and the list can go on. I am excited to add some of their creations to my next project that I am just beginning. Here are some highlights.
Greta initially requested a brush before she began fingerpainting, and I had to tell her it was okay to use her fingers. She was a little hesitant at first, but then she got comfortable quickly.
And Baby M enjoying her first time painting.
